The QUALIA engine is designed for simulators of land vehicles, aircrafts, watercrafts and machinery, used for both civilian and military purposes. The platform contains a wide catalogue of predefined simulation objects. QUALIA provides models of physical phenomena such as weather, atmosphere, earth’s magnetic field, dynamics of moving objects, advanced ballistics of combat assets. It is possible create own scenarios and perform assessment of training results, including after action review.
The simulators based on the QUALIA platform allow for the performance of numerous training tasks with regard to operating vehicles and aircrafts, fire execution and coordination as well as operation of machinery. Another available function allows combining particular simulator systems and their cooperation within a single virtual world. QUALIA also allows integration with external systems through the use of standard DIS/HLA mechanisms.
Scalability of the platform and included artificial intelligence mechanisms allow conducting tactic training on commanding and coordinating actions between the participants. The option to create reports containing detailed information on the conducted training course (including information on the amount of used ammunition, destroyed targets etc.) significantly facilitates the assessment of progress made by training participants.
